The Sessions


I believe that a compelling portrait of a somebody – regardless of their age – should capture the essence of the person and make you want to take a second look…and maybe even a third. That’s why I love to be around kids and teens. They are compelling all on their own, before I take a single picture. To watch the way they think, laugh, reason, and figure out their way in an adult world can keep me both entertained and amazed. I love these people!

Our stylized photo sessions are all about capturing the spirit and personality of your child, and making them look their absolute best! We work with families to create a customized session, available at a variety of locations in the Seattle and Eastside areas.

 

Location, location, location. We love to make our photoshoots fun, and what’s more fun than a vintage-themed session at Golden Gardens? Perhaps an urban shoot in downtown Seattle, or a Northwest explorer session at Discovery Park? Let us help you pick the perfect backdrop and customized theme for your child. We love highlighting the joy of childhood in our themed shoots, and are always looking for creative inspiration. Don’t know what to wear? Check out our fashion style ideas on Pinterest! As part of your pre-session consultation, we will discuss appropriate and creative clothing choices, and also provide props and wardrobe pieces as necessary.

Following your stylized photo session, we will provide an assortment of products for you to choose from, all created to show off your photos in creative and high-quality formats. We offer a range of products, and our most popular ones include fine art albums, canvas gallery wraps, and gift prints. No purchase is necessary to participate in the book project for the Kids of the Northwest.

Registration Fee: $75

A $75 registration fee (per family) is required to take part in the book project for the Kids of the Northwest.

All final images from your session will be retouched and artistically enhanced. So no worries if you have a break-out at your session. Bumps, blemishes, under-eye shadows…we’ve all had them at one time or another, and we all want them gone! Your final images will be expertly retouched to remove these imperfections, giving you the natural look you want.

Approximately one-two weeks following your session, an in-person viewing session will take place at our home studio, at which time you’ll see all of your images on our large high-definition screen. We’ll help you through the ordering process to determine which assortment of prints, albums, canvases or collages are best for you.

Participation in the Kids of the Northwest project is completely voluntary, and no purchase is required.
